Paramount Marauder

The Paramount Marauder is a 10-ton troop transport built in South Africa for a number of militaries around the world. The truck can carry up to 10 troops and is protected from missile launchers and landmines by a double-skin monocoque. The vehicle is powered by a 300hp diesel engine with a travel range of 420 miles.
The Marauder was developed for reconnaissance and peacekeeping missions and production began in 2008 and so far around 250 vehicles have been produced mainly for Jordan, Azerbaijan, and the Congo.
A civilian production of the vehicle and gained notoriety when Richard Hammond, the host of Top Gear, put the truck through its paces in an urban environment. Hammond tested the Marauder by bringing it through a fast-food drive-thru, taking it off road, driving it through solid brick walls and testing how well it could withstand a 7-pound explosion.
The price of the Marauder is a cool $485,000.
