The Japanese is known for bullet trains and great food, yet another thing to add to the list is their choice for a police car. The Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R has been part of the Japanese police force for over two decades. What’s so interesting about it is that the police car is nicknamed “Godzilla”, making it a monster of a car in terms of speed. It has a 276 horsepower, 6-cylinder R-34 turbocharged engine. No matter what type of road a speedster gets into, the all-wheel drive system of the car simply cannot be outran.
Majority of the police cars in Japan are actually Toyota Crowns but if there is a need for a super-fast car, that’s when they use the Godzilla. Reaching speeds of up to 194 miles per hour, police officers should not have any problem apprehending criminals and speedsters on the road when riding this model of a Nissan Skyline.
