The Arma dei Carabinieri in Milan and Rome Italy are a lucky bunch of police officers who can drive amazing vehicles in their line of work. Included in their fleet is the Lotus Evora S which has a powerful 350-HP, 3.5-liter V6 engine. It can go from zero to 60 mph in five seconds, its top speed being 172 mph. With its compact and low body, this Carabinieri car can easily chase fleeing criminals.
However, another use for its amazing speed is when transporting donated organs from one hospital to another. The car is equipped with a refrigeration unit for such purposes. It also has a voice commanded, touchscreen-controlled lights and sirens – along with all communication and routing features. This one-of-a-kind vehicle are only driven by selected police officers because of its neck-breaking speed on the road.
