There’s something really cool about mid-engined vehicles. That even counts when they are made by the French! The Matra Murena was a mid-engine sports car created by Matra from 1980 to 1983. The Murena had one of the most impressive looks and was shockingly aerodynamic. It may not look like much now, but at the time it was one of the most aerodynamic cars and had a drag coefficient of 0.328.
The other really cool feature on the Matra Murena was the seating. It was a three-seat car. However, all the seats were in the front. The middle of the three folded into an armrest if only 1 or 2 people were in the car. It’s something unique and definitely oddly cool.
