The gull-winged DeLorean is by far to most famous of our oddly cool cars, and potentially the most iconic cars ever. Impressive for a car that only sold 9,000 vehicles. To start this off, we know the official name is the DMC-12, but since it was the only car they ever built, it should be renamed to just the DeLorean.
The gull wing doors are what stands out most with the DeLorean, as it was only done a handful of times before this beauty included them. Most of us assume that the downside of gull-wing doors is that you need more clearance for parking to open the doors, surprising the opposite is true with the DeLorean, you need less than a foot to open the door.
