25 Coolest Concept Cars

Volkswagen ID. Buggy

One of the most recent concepts on this list, the Volkswagen ID. Buggy, debuted at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show. This concept car is large. While its proportions seem like those of a smaller vehicle, it is the size of an SUV. The concept vehicle has LEDs lighting the VW logos. The concept vehicle has matte-green paint, off-road tires on exposed wheels, no roof or doors, and open side skirts. The steering wheel features touch controls. The concept uses the Modular Electric Toolkit from VW and is unlikely to make it to production. It does, however, show the versatility of that MEB platform.

VW has already brought out the Microbus, giving its iconic past a bit of a reboot. The wheelbase is 104.3 inches even with a short overall length of 160 inches. The 9.4 inches of clearance is impressive considering the short overhangs, making clearing sand easy. There is 201 hp located in the rear with a relatively large 62.0-kWh battery pack under the floor. It is estimated to get 155 miles before the battery needs charged. Volkswagen has stated the architecture is customizable and the motor could go in the front to make it an all-wheel-drive vehicle. You can configure the package with two seats to four and take your friends on an off-road adventure.
