10 Bond Cars and The Powerful Image They Carry

#8. Toyota 2000 GT – You Only Live Twice

Seeing as the movie was going to take place in Japan, it made sense James was going to get a Japanese automobile. The Toyota 2000 GT was incredibly rare and only about 350 were ever made in the first place. Sean Connery also didn’t fit into the car, which made it very difficult for him to do his scenes. Perhaps next time they should make sure the actor fits in the car.

#7. Ford Mustang Mach 1 – Diamonds Are Forever

Alright, this was a fantastic car, but the movie scenes with it are pretty flawed. The Vegas strip was so crowded with people watching the scenes that they are obviously in the background of the chase scenes. Additionally at one point Bond goes up on two wheels to get through an alley. Of course on the other side of the alley, he comes out on the other two wheels. Oops! Ford provided all of the cars for the movie at no cost in exchange for Bond driving a Mustang.
